I am currently working for a company exporting yarns and crafts. Most of the creative works that I am doing now are focused mainly on package design, product development and branding directions. Those include developing new brand names, brand positioning and careful planning of how the packaged products will fit in a given retail shelving space. I must say package design plays a very crucial part of the whole marketing agenda. To generate sales, we always need to come up with unique packaging ideas so as to entice existing customers, maintain/create more brand awareness and at the same time, widen our target market range whilst keeping the production cost to a minimum.
